ahahahahaha good for you actually it is possible but take note your battery is prone to leakage if you stock it and it also can't hold enough power like before and by the way if you charge it today with 1.5v tomorrow it got power lost less than 1.5v and it easy to get low bat remember alkaline is different in rechargeable. why? because rechargeable more alike capacitors alkaline didn't have it it only have carbon inside it. try it see is to believe.

Almost forgot a little factoid.. Alkaline batteries (AA, AAA, C, D) put out 1.5 volts per cell, Rechargeables like NiCD and NiMH put out 1.2 volts per cell.. Not smart to put the wrong type of battery in the wrong type of charger.

uh.. what? I own several battery chargers specifically designed for Alkaline batteries.. they were purchased from Radio Shack in the 80's.. lol..
