If you're an atheist, you're the worst excuse for one I've seen in ages.But then again, you're probably one of those irrational, pedantic, overtly condescending atheist ideologues who didn't arrive there via reason, but rather blind adherence. That would explain why you think there isn't anything wrong with "scientology".Any rational-minded person can see that scientology is not a religion, it's a cult. And cults are explicitly bad by nature.

im an atheist too and scientology is fuckin hilarious. they believe that an evil alien lord named xenu brought millions of his followers to earth where they were killed, next xenu stopped their souls from escaping by putting a machine that souls couldnt pass through, he then brain washed them in a movie theater, then the brain washed souls wandered aimlessly on earth clinging to humans, giving them negative emotions, xenu was later sent to intergalactic jaillolololololololololololololololololol

None of those sites are news sites huh? Imagine that. I am an atheist. I don't argue against beliefs until I have studied them in full. Trust me I would love to debate against Scientology if there was something real to debate. But the fact is Christians are spreading lies to try and kill off yet another belief. And Christians call themselves "peaceful and loving" what a joke. If it isn't an official news site it's bull. Thousands of sites say Satan Worshipers sacrifice people..they don't.

In all fairness in defense of the bible - if you read the whole story of the ten commandments God was basically upset that he had to spell it out to people how to behave. When people critisize religion saying - oh you need a book to tell you not to kill - God was basically fed up with the israelites and said here (with the tablets) now there's no confusion

Another fact is Scientology members don't bad mouth other beliefs like Christians love to do. Youve got a point but Jesus never made any of those threats only people who claimed to represent him. Your point about money is wrong. Governments do not fund any churches - It is a TRUE free market but Jesus' sayings were give according to your means. You certainly dont have to bankrupt yourself to be a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Sikh or Buddhist. Maybe something towards the cost of the upkeep of the building you worship in is all.
