This was played beautifully! I have played this and it is a gorgeous piece. Schumann is truly amazing, even if he is a psycho. Why is the camera showing a sleeping audience though? Shouldn't it show the technique of the performer?

very nice response. i was reading a manga and it said someone was playing this piece. i didn't realise how emotional piano pieces are. it brings tears to your eyes.

Here we have Horowitz, one of the greatest pianists of the 21st century, performing one of the most beautiful and endearing works of Shumann, the most Romantic of the Romantics, in a land that has the strongest emotional and sentimental attachment to this particular piece....truly a historic moment in music
