then the fact that Catholic missions in Africa have told the local populations that they would burn in hell for all eternity if they so much as put a condom on. Well HIV/AIDS is Gods way of punishing those who live sexually immoral lives... Tell that to a new born baby who has the infection for no other reason then his mother and father were told not to protect themselves. The church has the pain and death of millions on its hands... I hope God judges them all accordingly. Let them burn

The Catholic church is a twisted, spiteful invention of man. Twisting the words of God, taking the message of love, forgivness and peace... screwing them up and spitting out hatred, discrimination and fear. You too can get into heaven, just place your faith and MONEY in us. Just how rich is the Vatican these days... how many poor could be helped if it lived by Christs own example and shed the wealth it has stolen through the years? "Have Catholic priests committed sexual sin?" Sin... it's not just a sin... its a crime... how many priests were/are protected by the Catholic church... how many have been able to get away with, and still get away with, terrible crimes because the Vatican is scared of what the world would say... what their image would be. Far better to buy the silence of the families... "here's £10,000 buy yourself a nice tele and forget about the last 10 years there's a good boy! and remember God loves you!"

Erm SavedByGraceAdam, since you like to read the Bible so much, I presume you should know that ALL the Apostles of Christ were great sinners as well. However, did Jesus publicly condemn them?? So why are judging these men who have fallen? Don't you believe in saving grace like what your nick suggest?

Then I can assume you had a bad experience with the Catholic Church, and that's ok. I know people who have had bad experiences with both the Catholic and Protestant Churches. But should that imply that all Catholics or all Protestants are the same? That both are arrogant, religious, better-than-thou assholes or fags or hypocrites? I'm sorry for your bad experiences Adam. I honestly am. And again, I don't want to start a fight, but is it fair to think poorly of all Catholics?

A HUGE percentage of priests are pedophiles and fags amongst other things. They should be given a life sentence in prison. If you read the Bible, you know the way the NT Church is supposed to look, and it is NOT the Catholic Church. If they want to go off and do their own thing, fine, just don't call it Christianity.
