To have had the fortune to grow up with the music of Glenn Miller... I´m immensely grateful. Not only did I have great days then, I can enjoy it all in double measure now. Call me a sentimentral fool, I am.

Jeez, people, open your minds a little bit. News flash: you can appreciate a great songwriting team such as Lennon and McCartney (versatile enough to write "When I'm 64", "Eleanor Rigby", and "Back in the USSR") AND appreciate this fabulous performance (I am addicted to it and come back almost every day) AT THE SAME TIME. Yes, really.

Easy- it's called "progress". The Beatles came ashore... and it wasn't long before "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" turned into "Strawberry Fields" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"... drugs, eastern mysticism, all that "good" stuff. In retrospect, what that generation was rebelling against sure was ridiculous , wasn't it?
