I heard from someone that was here back in the old school days that some girl got pregnant from a GI that was visiting Fort Custer during WWII, and then met someone who was from NY, band member? I met some of the movie-making people when they were here and they didn't act very nice at all, in fact they acted exactly like you'd expect extremely rude Hollywood types to act. If local people were involved in the making of this movie, it sure didn't seem to be any of the ones I saw. I haven't seen or heard anything since they were here, unable to find to see the movie but too bad if its supposed to be about 'anytown' that'd be part of the problem since this isn't 'anytown' - its *Kalamazoo*
