No, I am not talking about the D# at the end (the acting major seventh). At 4:36 another tone, caused by the hum of some sort of device, is a Bb. (I was wrong when I said a half step below its actually a perfect fifth and a minor sixth together when "hum" note is combined with the E and the D#)Give me a thumbs up if this is the nerdiest comment ever. :)

Congratulation to your fantastic sense of hearing, but here's a surprise for you: This IS the correct ending (a melodic line doesn't always end with the tonic keynote...!) Richter plays this stuff as if he accidentally popped some speed-pills that day, but you have to admit that he never hits ONE wrong key...

Haha at the end of the video there's a tone that's a half step lower than the ending note and it sounded like he hits a wrong note but its just the tape.
