you mean buy a season on dvd? Well if you never watched the unit then you might as well start with season 1 but there's nothing wrong with buying season 2. Season 3 is the best but only has 11 eps cuz of writers strike but you need to watch season 2 and understand the show to really appreciate season 3 because the season 3 plot continues from what happened in the season 2 plot.
