Well... almost.See, some laptops come with WinModems. Guess what the "Win" stands for? WINDOWS!! These nefarious blobs, er, MODEMS are a big cause of distress because they do not work with Linux. (They also don't work with OS X but Macs don't come with WinModems.)

Okay, you win. I'm not gonna argue on New Year's anyway.Still, G5's can't be in laptops without sucking all the power. And the Xbox 360 may exceed at what it does, gaming, but the PS3's Cell wins with flying colors in FPU operations (the Xenon is simpler than the G5 and Cell). Not that it would matter if you were doing 1+1=2 or something.

and in response to your reply from 4 months ago, I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with Pentium 4, 32-bit, Windows XP, and it's ALL IDE, which sucks because PATA is sløw compared to SATA. And if you know how, how can I clone the 40 GB drive into a new 160 GB drive to replace it? And is it possible to swap motherboards? And yes, This should have been a PM, but I tend to divulge. A LOT. so please pm me. oh and if peestandingup is reading this, please feel free to delete my previous comment.

Pentium 4 just sucks for me, I had a Del Dimension 2400 with it, and even after I swapped out the 256 MB RAM for 2 (1x1) GB RAM, it STILL runs slow!
