LOL cool! I had surgery on my left foot and was recovering at the time. When CNN projected Virginia to him, that gave him 220, and that was just 1 minute before the polls closed on the west coast. I just knew he would get California! So it was like I knew it was destined But had to wait 60 seconds till the announcement. When it did I unknowingly was standing up on the foot. Needless to say, the was the last time I stood up for the following 2 days!

When the results came in and Obama hit 270.I droped to my knees and cried because i thought about all those who fought and died both black and white americans for letting this historic dream to happen.God Bless America

This happened at 8pm on the west coast. At 7:40 or so, I did the math and, knowing the networks would call CA, OR, WA, and HI as soon as the polls closed at 8pm, Obama would be over 270, I had the champagne ready to go. And my partner, two very close friends, and I toated our new president at 8:00:05!!
