I thought Ron refused to play stuff off this album in the reformed Stooges. He was bumped to bass for the record, and not happy about it.

I kinda have to agree with Ron Asheton's view of the mix of Raw Power- the vox are too loud and there's not enough bottom end. Plus, didn't James Williams play guitars on this album, with Ron Asheton relegated to bass? Better to listen to Fun House (T.V. Eye, Down on the Street) than this, if you're looking to pay tribute to a punk pioneer.
