I believe that it's real. Look at the footage closely. Not the same stuff from Planet of the Apes movies. In those movies, you can tell it's a man in a suit. In Patterson/Gimlin film, looks like a real monster. I would know if it was a man in a suit like in those movies.

I'd hope not, anyway. Of course, I cannot know the truth about Gimlin. He's a perplexing figure who was also involved in another sighting of Bigfoot at the Dalles - in 1973, I believe. That gives me pause; or maybe he got lucky twice!Maybe slick Roger actually did get lucky with less than one minute of film left on that stolen camera! If you believe Gimlin wasnt in on the hoax then the guy you believe to be wearing the costume would have to be insane.Gimlin was carrying a rifle. Being confronted with an unknown creature of enormous size, it would havebeen quite possible for him to panic and shoot. Surely noone would be crazy enough to risk this.

What a great show! They can't do shows like this today. The music, the mood, Nimoy's narration... just had something that can't be recreated with today's shows that deal with these topics.
